When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the question of quality was never more contentious than it is right now, as Phase 4 draws closer to its conclusion. Many people believe that the most recent set of blockbuster movies and Disney+ programs have fallen short of expectations. This is especially after the success of Avengers: Endgame as well as the Infinity Saga, which set a high standard for Marvel Studios to meet with Phase 4.
A lot of fans are finding that Phase 4 doesn’t live up to their expectations. The most recent series produced by Marvel Studios for Disney+, titled She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, has not been any different as viewers have laid into its humour, its portrayal of Hulk, and its cringe character.
It is possible that the most significant issue with She-Hulk at the moment is the fact that it does not commit to any of its primary elements for any considerable time. The superhero moments are brief; for a legal show, there is very little time spent in court; any MCU linkages were abandoned in the first few episodes; and the comedy does not appear to be connecting with the majority of viewers. Simply put, She-Hulk is trying to do too much in not enough time, leading to a failure to fully explore any of its core aspects in enough depth.
The claim that She-Hulk has been declining in quality may be seen mirrored in the average rating that each episode has received on IMDB. The average rating for the first five episodes was increasingly lower, going from 6.5 for the first episode to 5.4 for the fifth.
